This Adorable Fish-Shaped Dessert Is About to Sweep Your Instagram

Almost too cute to eat. Almost.

Get ready to fall in love with Instagram all over again.

Mic brings our attention to these adorably fish-shaped waffle cones that are a form of the Japanese dessert called taiyaki, which Serious Eats describes as a cake-like item made from waffle-esque batter that is typically filled with sweet red bean paste. Now, it's shaped like a fish, tastes like a waffle, and is filled with ice cream. Goddess is good, y'all.

You can now get the fish version at Taiyaki NYC, where co-owner Jimmy Chen explain that what they sell is different than the traditional taiyaki recipe. He says his version is "crispier and fluffier" than the "cakier" Japanese version. I guess we'll all have to be the judge of that by getting our butts to Taiyaki NYC and buying up all the fish cones ASAP.

And don't forget your smartphone because this is very much a Insta or it didn't happen situation.
